Chicago finds itself as road underdogs once again, despite it going 9-2 in its last 11 games overall and never trailing this postseason.
Cleveland had a difficult time generating any offense in the Game 1 loss, as it went 0-for-3 with runners in scoring position and leaving seven men on base. It was the Guardians’ first shutout loss in 11 playoff games.
I cannot confidently back the Guardians at this price, especially since they went just 1-3 in Gavin Williams’ four starts against the White Sox this year and have a -7 run differential.
📡 SBR Edge: A winning record with Kay on the bump
Chicago went 4-0 in Anthony Kay's final four starts, and was 3-2 in his five starts against Cleveland this season.
